RF (Radiofrequency): This is a technology used in various medical and aesthetic treatments. In the context of skincare and body contouring, RF devices deliver radiofrequency energy to the skin, heating the targeted area. This heat stimulates collagen production, tightens the skin, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and cellulite.
DMA (Dynamic Muscle Activation): DMA is sometimes associated with fitness and body sculpting. It involves electrical stimulation to activate muscles, often used in conjunction with exercise. In the context of aesthetics, it is used to stimulate muscles for toning and firming.
Heat Sensation: RF treatments typically involve the delivery of radiofrequency energy to the targeted area, which can result in a warming or heating sensation. This is usually a controlled and gradual heat that is designed to stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin.
Muscle Contractions: DMA treatments involve the use of electrical impulses to stimulate muscle contractions. You may feel your muscles contracting and relaxing rhythmically during the procedure.
How many treatments will I need?
A course of 8 weekly treatments is required to stimulate the collagen and elastin in the skin and to educate and tone the muscle. After your 8 weekly treatments, a monthly maintenance is required to keep the results you have achieved. Each treatment will last from 45min - 1 hour.
