Why Skin Needling?

Skin Needling is a procedure that can only be performed by a specifically trained and qualified practitioner. Microneedling improves wrinkles, minimises pores and induces skin tightening by stimulating a mass production of collagen and elastin. It can also improve surgical scars, acne scars and stretch marks. Skin needling promotes a natural healing response in the skin which helps with blemishes and mild pigmentation.

What is it for?

Skin Needling can be used to treat lot’s of different skin concerns. If you suffer from large pores, scars, stretch marks, sun damage or acne they you will benefit and be able to improve these conditions.

What results can I expect?

You will notice brighter, firmer skin. Best results are achieved after a course of treatments. Pores will appear more refined, skin will look plumper and fine lines and wrinkles will be softened.

What should I do before my treatment?

If you have been in the sun and have been sunburnt you will need to wait 4-6 weeks.If you are a skin type 4-6 you will need a patch test before your treatment. If you have been on accutane you must wait a minimum of 1 year after stopping accutane before you can have your treatment. If you have had roaccutane you will need to wait 6 months if it is a combination of peels and needling it’s one year. If you have active acne we cannot go over the area as this will spread the acne. Avoid using retinol actives on the skin for 2-3 days.
